About Me

I’m Jessie, a long-time IT systems engineer for the last 25 years or so, jack-of-a-lot-of-trades and master of none. Starting with online media during the dot-com boom to server and endpoint management to a decade-long stint architecting virtual infrastructure, I am continually blessed to be able to collaborate with incredibly thoughtful, intelligent, and funny people in this wide-ranging industry. Somewhere in there I got bitten by the self-hosting bug, hard.
I love hacking at things. My most fitting shirt reads “I void warranties”. I love cars and motorcycles, home automation, 3D design and printing, and above all of those, my children.
